Humidifier for Long Term Rodent Anesthesia
(AS-01-0526)

This humidifier allows investigators to conduct longer duration studies without the risk of dehydration of the subject's nasal mucosa and lungs. Sterile water is placed in the humidifier which is connected in line with the anesthetic gas source. Humidification of the gases occurs at all commonly used flow rates. It is recommended that the water in the humidifier be changed after every use or every 6 hours. Comes with 3 extra nebulizers.

Reusable Bag Bleed Valve
(AA-00-0516)

This reusable valve, used on SAS Small Animal Non-rebreathing systems, has a unique design that provides the user positive verification that the valve is opened or closed. Outlet fits standard 19 mm waste gas EVAC tubing.

Dual Diverter Valve System
(AS-01-0528)

The Dual Diverter Valve System is an economical way for the user to control the flow of anesthetic between two devices (i.e., induction chamber and non-rebreathing system) while using only one inhalant anesthesia system. Stopcocks provide positive verification that the valve is open or closed.

Dual Diverter Manifold
(AS-01-0529-01)

Shown installed on a SAS Portable Anesthesia Machine, the Dual Diverter Manifold allows the user to operate 2 devices (i.e. an induction chamber and non-rebreathing system) from one anesthesia device system. It can be installed on any manufacturer's system using a SAS Universal Mounting Block (p/n AA-00-915). The Dual Diverter Manifold comes complete with two color coded common outlets and 12' of clear RNT tubing. Each stopcock is color coded to match common outlets.

Multiplex Delivery System

Shown installed on a SAS Portable Anesthesia Machine, the MDS is available in 2,3,4,5 or 6 flowmeter configurations. The Multiplex Delivery System (MDS) allows an investigator to have up to six devices connected to one anesthesia system. One possible configuration would be an induction chamber and up to five non-rebreathing systems operating simultaneously during a study. The MDS ensures proper flow rate to each device used.

When purchasing any multiplex delivery system, we include a pressure relief valve which acts as a safety device to prevent damage to the anesthetic vaporizer. This pressure relief valve can easily be installed on your anesthesia system. If the Multiplex Delivery System is purchased with a SAS Anesthesia System we will install the pressure relief valve on your system at no extra cost

We also recommend that, when using a 3 to 6 station Multiplex Delivery System, the anesthesia system have an oxygen flowmeter that is capable of supporting flow rates up to 12 liters per minute. A 0-12 liter per minute flowmeter upgrade on SAS Anesthesia Systems will be done at no charge when ordering a Multiplex Delivery System with a SAS Anesthesia System.

The Multiplex Delivery System can be installed on any anesthesia system using the SAS Universal Mounting Block (AA-00-0915)
