Rebreathing Bags

Available in sizes for animals ranging in weight from a few grams all the way up to 200 lbs., our non-rebreathing systems are designed for maximum safety for the animals as well as the staff. the systems come in a variety of styles and sizes to suit your specific applications and preferences. Bain, Jackson Rees and
Mapleson-D non-rebreathing systems are provided with your choice of any seize heavy duty non-rebreathing bag and reusable bag bleed valve. The advantage to non-rebreathing systems is to virtually reduce mechanical "dead space."

These heavy-duty bags are designed to provide many months of trouble-free use. The neck area is much thicker than standard bags. The size of bag required is determined by the tidal volume of the animal.

CO2 Absorber

The SAS Small Animal Rebreathing Head is the finest rebreathing system available. It is manufactured from non-reactive, non-corrosive materials and will not crack, dent, chip, peel or bend. It will provide years of trouble-free service. CO2 canister holds 3 pounds of CO2 absorbing material and is easy to clean and fill. Canister release is accomplished via a single handle. Built in manometer is calibrated in cm of water, the standard in veterinary medicine. the pressure relief valve (pop-off) has less than 1 cm of water resistance in the fully open position.

Pop-Off Valve (AS-01-0420)

Designed with safety in mind and specifically for use with the small animal rebreathing and non-rebreathing systems the SAS Pop-Off Valve has less than 1 cm of water pressure resistance when in the fully open position ensuring that the waste anesthetic gases flow through the valve with a minimum of resistance. The non-corrosive and non-reactive materials used in the manufacture of the valve mean that it will operate reliably for many years.

Rebreathing Hose Sets

The size of rebreathing hose set you use is determined by the size of animal you are working with. Pediatric hose sets can be used with animals in the 15 lb. to 30 lb. range. Adult sets can be used on animals larger than 30 lbs.
