Active Waste Gas System Interface Valves
(AV-03-0594)

The SAS Hallowell Waste Gas Interface Valve is designed to be used with medical suction or with active waste gas evacuation systems. The purpose of the interface valve is to control or "balance" the negative pressure that is present in the active evac systems with the flow of waste anesthetic gases from the anesthesia machine.

Safety feature of the SAS designed Interface Valve include a 3 cm of H2O positive pressure relief and a 1 cm of H2O negative pressure relief. The positive relief can also be connected to an activated charcoal canister to prevent the flow of anethetic gases into the room environment.

Up to five devices can be attached to one Waste Gas Interface Valve.
